I'm Daphne!
My story begins in my favorite industry supply chain management. After paying my way through school as a server and taking 6 years to graduate with my Bachelor's in SCM, I was excited to land my dream role as a Distribution Supervisor for The EstΓ©e Lauder Companies mananging a team of nearly 40 people. However the downside was 60+ hour weeks while my son started to fall behind developmentally. Determined to support him, I found a WFH jobβ¦but it turned out to have single-mom discriminatory policies. That was my cue to go out on my own.
I knew whatever I did had to be sustainable, even if the economy or a clientβs business was struggling. After spotting a gap where my supply chain skills could serve service-based businesses, I dove in and ended up making more per month in my first year than I ever did in corporate. Now, Iβm building a team, getting my time back, and helping other moms do the same! All while actually getting to be a mom to my growing 4-year old son.
